My favorite part from the talent quest.

Last Friday it was the feast of St Pius X. We had a whole school mass before the morning. We were celebrate the Pius X. He is the faith of St Pius X school. After morning tea, we had the talent quest.
Lavinia and Robertanna were leading on the talent quest. They come to the and have some jokes before they started.
Rm4 class was the first performance.
My favourite part was Rm7‘s item. We had to sing a prayer song. I like it because I had to go up to the frond and sing to the whole school, teacher and parents. Next time I will try to be in the talent quest.

Saint Pius.

St Pius x was born on 2nd June 1835. He grew up in a poor family. They called him Bepi for short. He had 7 brothers and sisters. Bepi was clever and he worked hard at school. He often visited the church to pray and was an altar boy. When he was 23 years old he was ordained as a priest and spent many years looking after the people in his Parish and helping them. In 1903 Bepi, was elected Pope and he took the new name of Pius X.
Pius X died in 1914 and became a saint in 1954. Today our Pope is Pope Bennidict. He liked Pope Pius X and he carries on the work of Jesus by caring for all the people of God.

The Mana Spirit

The Mana Spirit show on this morning at Saint Pius x Catholic school was amazing. The teachers name was Bernard and he is a very talented person. Hes very proud of what he has learnt travelling around the world. His family come from different cultures and he knows how to dance in different cultures. He showed the whole school how talented he is by doing an American Indian, Maori, Hawaiian, Samoan and Hip Hop dance. I really enjoyed watching his dances and listening to what he had to say about having courage to do what i want to do in life.

Poni The Ascension.

I am learning about the Ascension. Ascension is when Jesus returned to his father and he promised to his apostles he will send down the Holy Spirit to them.

Jesus fill me with your spirit to be able to make the right choice.

Retreat at Francis...

When we just arrived to the retreat we had lots of activities in there. We have to make our own and we don’t have the same ark it only me and Sione Fohe have the same ark. The next day we had to work together as a team and you have to take a long paper and hold on to it if you move I don’t what to you but, you have to go and find the same colour with your colour and the last one you have to find telephone, cookies, fruit and I don’t the other one my teams is Sione Fohe, Emelia, Tokilupe and Ondre.

Help me please.

Dear Jesus, Thank you for dying on the cross for me. So I can follow in the fourteen steps of the Station that you go before your dying on the cross. Please help me to live like you Kind, Help and Virtuous. Amen...

Holy Spirit in the Scripture.

In Religious Education I have been learning about the Holy Spirit in the Scripture.

In the Old Testament we learnt about the image of God percieved by the people of this time.

In

ISAIAH 49: 15- God is seen as a MOTHER. Mothers will never forget their babies so God will never forget us His babies.
