Talent Quest.

Last Friday it was the feast of St Pius X. We had a whole school mass before the morning. We were celebrate the Pius X. He is the faith of St Pius X school. After morning tea, we had the talent quest.

Lavinia and Robertanna were leading on the talent quest. They come to the front and have some jokes before they started. Rm4 class was the first performance.

My Favorited part was Rm7‘s item. We had to sing a prayer song. I like it because I had to go up to the frond and sing to the whole school, teacher and parents. Next time I will try to be in the talent quest.

On the way to the church we made the wrong turn and we were hoping we would still make it on time. When we got there we ran as fast as we could to the lined up, then Mrs Tui lead us all inside the church then mass started.

The opening hymn was “Here I am Lord. When it hit Communion time we were nerves I stood up being so proud for my self singing for Mr Coakley funeral.

Before the mass was finished Father stood up to blessed Mr Coakley’s dad before he went to live in peace. After the mass Mr Coakley came up to us and said thank you for coming and represent our school with other people. I enjoyed that day a lot.

The Mana Spirit

The Mana Spirit show on this morning at Saint Pius x Catholic school was amazing. The teachers name was Bernard and he is a very talented person. Hes very proud of what he has learnt travelling around the world. His family come from different cultures and he knows how to dance in different cultures. He showed the whole school how talented he is by doing an American Indian, Maori, Hawaiian, Samoan and Hip Hop dance. I really enjoyed watching his dances and listening to what he had to say about having courage to do what i want to do in life.

Athletic day

Friday after morning tea all the team colour. They line up in there houses. It called Tui’s, Geckos, Keas, and Kiwis. Mrs Pole’s give Tui’s a 10,5,20,10, points.

We began to start the race Mr Coackley called 5 yrs old Francis help me. To take the yr5 boys and girl to front for the race after that 6 yrs old boys and girl for the race. Finally is the 11,12,13 yrs old boys girl i tell Francis ,Anasitasia ,Jessica come let go i our tern to race.

Mr Coackley call it yr11girl then boys yr12 girl and boy then the last it yr13 girl and boy.Mr Gaffney told to the girl to come start the race it my tornt to race. I ran and ran finally i came second.
